Ever since Europeiska was formed in 1920 we have specialized in offering private and business travel insurance.
Owners
Europeiska Försäkrings AB, with registered office in Sundbyberg, is a wholly owned subsidiary of European International Holding A/S, with registered office in Copenhagen, and is part of the Münchener Rück Group, with registered office in Munich.
Our business idea
Europeiska's business idea is to offer the traveller safety before, during and after the trip, among other things thanks to our own widespread service network, Euro-Centers, which are situated in 12 countries all over the world. If anything happens during the trip Europeiska's customers can contact Europeiska Service, Euro-Center, or Euro-Alarm, our emergency centre that offers assistance by Swedish-, and Scandinavian-speaking staff 24 hours a day year-round.
Today, our network covers most major destinations throughout the world, for private as well as business travellers. We therefore have a unique ability to provide assistance locally, that is, service and financial assistance to travellers who fall ill or sustain accidents, no matter where they are.
Co-operates with tour operators
Europeiska co-operates with most of the large Swedish tour operators and travel agents. 35% of the largest Swedish enterprises are among our customers for business travel insurance.
